Giorgio Alemanno has been appointed Managing Director of SCHOTTEL Italia.
The German propulsion expert SCHOTTEL is expanding its strategic network in Southern Europe with the addition of a new subsidiary in Bozen, Italy. SCHOTTEL has been successfully doing business on the Italian market for over 60 years. In fact, passenger shipping and tugboat sectors have reported increasing growth in new ship construction for several years now. On this basis, a new branch office is being set up to help intensify market development. This will particularly benefit customers from the prospering sub-segment of megayachts. Business operations were launched on 1 October 2020.
Giorgio Alemanno has been appointed Managing Director of SCHOTTEL Italia, a position that will enable him to contribute his extensive market expertise and many years of sales experience in the shipping industry. Before joining SCHOTTEL, he was Head of Sales for a supplier for propulsion solutions.

Service business remains with Jobson
