German propulsion expert SCHOTTEL has launched a new subsidiary in Norway. Parent company CEO Dr Christian Strahberger states: “By incorporating SCHOTTEL Norway AS, the company is pursuing its plan to expedite propulsion sales in Norway and its commitment to global expansion. With Frydenbø SCHOTTEL Nordic AS and its predecessor, William Knudsen AS, SCHOTTEL has had a powerful Norwegian presence for many years. As of now, the latter will exclusively focus on After Sales Service while SCHOTTEL Norway AS will be responsible for New Equipment Sales.”
New Employees at Sales Department
Sales Director of the newly founded company is Jan Helge Telseth who is going to operate in the Bergen area of Norway. The Norwegian brings along many years of experience in the international marine propulsion industry. In recent years, he has held several leadership positions within the maritime business including his last employments at Siemens Subsea and Rolls-Royce Marine in Singapore. Furthermore, electrical engineer Idar Hatløy has already joined the Norwegian SCHOTTEL team as a Sales Manager in the area around Ulsteinvik. Idar Hatløy is also very familiar with the maritime industry. Prior to SCHOTTEL, he was CEO at Neptune Offshore in Ulsteinvik.
